Leather Care
Leather is a sustainable product which has the ability to last for years when given the correct care.

Leather
This belt has been hand made using premium natural leather. Our artisans carefully source and select the finest leather hides from around the world including, Italy, USA, India, Argentina and Australia.
We use the Italian Double Butt for its strong but supple feel. It is tanned in Italy using the traditional method of soaking in extracts of wood, and nuts from trees and shrubs.
You can expect this belt to quickly form to the shape of your body and yet still feel extremely solid. With some regular maintenance and care this belt should last for decades.

Craftsmanship
Our artisans begin by cutting a strap from a whole piece of natural hide. They then bevel the edges to get a rounded finish, which ensures maximum comfort for the wearer.
They then punch out the holes for the buckle and paint the edges for a refined finish. The belt is then polished and waxed to fasten the colour and nourish the leather. Finally, the belt is assembled with solid hardware and branded with a makers mark.

Sustainability
The journey towards sustainability starts with products that can be repaired for longevity of use. Leather needs very little in the way of life-time maintenance and it is easy to do at home.
Well-made leather lasts a long time, unlike most man-made or synthetic materials. As we mindfully look for ways to lower consumption, leather very much fits with the ethos of ‘buy less, buy better’.
